Atal Utkrisht Government Inter College Berinag, Pithoragarh follows the syllabus in accordance with the C.B.S.E., New Delhi Board for the students admitted to the respective classes and streams.

The medium of instruction is English/Hindi. English is taught as a compulsory subject up to Class X.

Students of Classes XI and XII are categorized into Science, Commerce, and Arts groups according to their academic interests and future goals.

The whole academic session is divided into two terms. The duration of Term I is from April to September, while Term II is from October to March.
